F3000 Flight Data Acquisition Unit (FDAU)

Product overview

The F3000 Flight Data Acquisition Unit (FDAU) is designed for general aviation, business aircraft and unique mission aircraft that require a stand-alone ARINC 747 FDAU or a supplementary FDAU for expanded parameter conditioning. The F3000 FDAU converts digital and analog aircraft inputs into a standard ARINC 717/747 data stream that is compatible with all ARINC 717/747 flight data recorders.

Key Features

Flexible recording capabilities

The F3000 provides up to two hours of high-quality recording for all four channels, or it can record a minimum of 25 hours of flight data at 64/128/256/or 512 words-per-second (wps). The unit is ARINC 573.717/747 (data) 557 and 757 compliant.

Lightweight with high crash survivability

While the standard F3000 weighs only 10 pounds, it has demonstrated incredible crash worthiness. In installations where even greater weight savings are required, the F3000’s standard stainless steel Crash-Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU) can be manufactured using lightweight titanium.

Flexible features to meet specific needs

The F3000 is optionally available as either a stand-alone Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) or a dedicated Flight Data Recorder (FDR). For military applications, the unit can be optionally outfitted for Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations.
